Israel: The Army Prepares for Hamas Attempt to Kidnap a Soldier in Gaza

Gaza - Afaq News - The Israeli army and the Shin Bet are preparing for the possibility that Hamas may attempt to kidnap a soldier in the Gaza Strip in the near future.

Based on the existing warnings, the alert level has been raised for the two divisions deployed in the sector. Instructions were issued to senior leaders of each unit days ago not to leave the sector and to conduct regular inspections to ensure the readiness of their forces.

These forces are deployed within the yellow line, in 40 advanced positions, in addition to 10 other advanced positions outside the surrounding fence, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.
