Assassination of a Qassam Leader in Northern Gaza and the Demolition of Houses in Deir al-Balah

Gaza - Afaq News - The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire file on its 356th day in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli violations over the past 24 hours have led to the martyrdom of four citizens and injuries to several others in different areas of the Strip.

This morning, occupation aircraft targeted a residential apartment on Al-Lababidi Street in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in a large fire.

Civil defense teams managed to recover two martyrs from the targeted apartment after multiple attempts to extinguish the fire.

Local sources reported that Commander Izz al-Din al-Bayek (Abu Hamza) "Ashmawi," the commander of the northern Gaza Strip brigade in the Al-Qassam Brigades, was martyred due to the Israeli airstrike early this morning on an apartment in the Al-Nasr neighborhood west of Gaza City.

Citizen Ahmed Abu Mour was martyred by the fire of the occupation forces in the Al-Mahatta area of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces carried out a demolition operation east of Deir al-Balah in the central Strip.

On Monday afternoon, citizen Amal Al-Ajla was martyred, and her husband was seriously injured as a result of targeting a residential apartment in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

A citizen was also seriously injured after being targeted in the Al-Suwarah area west of the Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Statistics

The number of those who reached the Ministry of Health hospitals in the past 24 hours was four martyrs and 19 injured.

Since the ceasefire (October 11), the total number of martyrs has reached: 1,421 martyrs, in addition to 4,983 injured, and the total number of recovery cases: 834 martyrs.

The number of martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has reached: 74,022 martyrs and 175,098 injured.
