Jordan.. Public Security announces the arrest of the perpetrators of the “Karak attack,” and the Minister of Interior comments

Jordanian Public Security announced the arrest of the perpetrators of the shooting attack in a church in the Karak Governorate in the south of the country that took place on Friday, according to what the official Jordanian news agency reported on Monday. The Public Security statement said: “After a joint security operation, specialized investigation and raid teams arrested the three terrorists who carried out the cowardly terrorist operation and wounded all of them, after an armed clash with them, without any casualties among the ranks of the security force.”

For his part, Jordanian Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya previously wrote on his page on the “X” platform, Twitter: “When we asked people to be reassured, we did not ask for that just because we say or pray; rather, because we are determined to give them real reasons to be reassured.” He continued: "We arrested the killers, are reviewing all the circumstances that lead young people to extremism, and we are holding accountable everyone whose participation is proven."
