The coalition: intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi group towards Saudi Arabia

- The “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” led by Saudi Arabia, announced on Sunday the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles launched by the Iran-backed Houthi group towards the Kingdom. The coalition spokesman, Turki Al-Maliki, wrote through his account on the X platform: “Intercepting and destroying two ballistic missiles launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait.”

It is noteworthy that the members of the UN Security Council condemned in a statement, on Thursday, “in the strongest terms the continuing and escalating attacks launched by the Houthis against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including attacks that targeted civil aviation and energy infrastructure and resulted in the death and injury of civilians.” In a related context, the police of the Yemeni city of Aden announced that "two missiles fired by the Houthis hit the campus of Aden International Airport," in the south of the country, on Friday.

This attack follows a previous attack on October 7, in which the Houthis targeted the airport with missiles and drones, according to the Yemeni Ministry of Transport, an attack that also did not result in any casualties.
