Revolutionary Guard: Iran "won" the war.. and America could not keep the Strait of Hormuz open for a few hours

- The spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Hossein Mohseni, said on Saturday that Tehran will not stop "punishing America until the seven Iranian conditions are met," claiming that Iran is the one that "won the war" according to what was reported by the semi-official Iranian news agency "Tasnim." Brigadier General Hossein Mohseni claimed that "Iranian missiles are capable of destroying multi-layered American defense systems."

He added that "the United States expected Iran to surrender after mobilizing its forces in the Gulf, but it faced different resistance from Iran." He also claimed that "Iran is the victor in the war, and it is currently working to turn this victory into a permanent strategic deterrent," according to what was reported by "Tasnim."

Brigadier General Hossein Mohseni further stated that the United States raised the banner of ensuring maritime navigation security, but it failed in this regard during the recent war. He added that the United States, despite having the largest naval force in the world, could not even keep the Strait of Hormuz open for a few hours.

Brigadier General Hossein Mohseni continued that "Washington claims that the Strait of Hormuz is open to avoid rising oil prices, yet control over it lies in the hands of the naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard." The spokesman for the Revolutionary Guard explained that "before the war, dozens of ships, even more than 100 ships daily, crossed the strait, but now only oil tankers belonging to Iran's trading partners are allowed to cross with permission from Tehran," according to him.

Recently, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, General Mohsen Rezaei, stated that Tehran has set seven basic conditions for the U.S. government as a prerequisite for starting any negotiations, mentioning that U.S. President Donald Trump's calculations regarding the war were "wrong." He stated that among Tehran's conditions are "ending the war on all fronts, releasing frozen Iranian assets, and ending the maritime blockade."

This came as U.S. President Donald Trump published a map of the Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, referring to it as "Trump Strait," in a post on his official account on his platform "Truth Social." Trump drew a circle around the Strait of Hormuz, which included the islands located within the strait area, and also included the coasts of Iran and the coasts of the United Arab Emirates, while the Gulf countries appeared except for Qatar and Bahrain.
