Saudi Arabia.. The Interior Ministry announces the execution of 5 citizens in the Eastern Province and reveals their names and “terrorist” crimes

The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced, on Saturday, the implementation of a “punishment” death sentence against 5 citizens in the Eastern Province. It said they had committed “terrorist crimes,” including joining an external terrorist organization and shooting security personnel, according to a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency, SPA. The Saudi Ministry of Interior said in its statement: “All of them: Muhammad bin Munir bin Muhammad Al-Zaher, Ali bin Abd Rab Al-Hussein Al-Sheikh, Hassan bin Zaki bin Muhammad Al-Faraj, Reda bin Muhammad bin Ali Al Abu Abdullah, and Ali bin Hassan bin Ahmed Al Rabh, all Saudi nationals, committed terrorist crimes, which included joining an external terrorist organization, shooting security personnel and security vehicles several times with the intention of killing them, possessing weapons and live ammunition, and providing support to finance and implement... Terrorist operations inside the Kingdom,” according to SPA.

The ministry added: “Thanks to God, the security authorities were able to arrest those mentioned, and the investigation with them resulted in them being charged with committing these crimes, and by referring them to the competent court, a ruling was issued against them confirming what was attributed to them and killing them (as a discretionary punishment), and the ruling became final after it was appealed and then upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by law,” according to the statement. The Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that “a death sentence (punishment) was carried out against: Muhammad bin Munir bin Muhammad Al-Zaher, Ali bin Abd Rab Al-Hussein Al-Sheikh, Hassan bin Zaki bin Muhammad Al-Faraj, Rida bin Muhammad bin Ali Al Abu Abdullah, and Ali bin Hassan bin Ahmed Al Rabh, Saudi nationals, on Saturday, 5/6/1448 AH, corresponding to 10/17/2026 AD in the Eastern Province.”
