Lieutenant General Rajoub delivers a message from the Palestinian President to the Japanese Prime Minister

Ramallah - Ofoq News - Lieutenant General Jibril Rajoub met on Monday, October 19, with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Yasutaka Nakasone. He delivered a message from President Mahmoud Abbas to the Japanese Prime Minister, Mrs. Sunny Takechi.

The team also expressed the thanks and appreciation of the Palestinian leadership and people to the Japanese government for providing economic and humanitarian support to the Palestinian people for decades and considering Japan a friendly country.

He stressed the need for Japan to recognize the State of Palestine at the present time because of its positive and constructive impact, as it renews hope for the Palestinian people and the protection of the two-state solution, and that Israel’s measures of killing, confiscating lands and demolishing homes will not stand in the way of implementing the two-state solution, especially since Japan is a country with economic and political weight and supports the two-state solution, to achieve which it has invested in many infrastructure and economic projects to enhance the building of the institutions of the State of Palestine and support its economy.

He reviewed the political situation in Palestine and the work to achieve political and national partnership for all components of the Palestinian people in accordance with the commitments of the Palestine Liberation Organization before the international community and its political program to ensure the establishment of the State of Palestine.
