Yemeni Forces Launch "Strategic Attack" on Sana'a.. and Control Bab al-Mandab
Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad al-Alimi announced on Monday the launch of the military operation "Dawn of Yemen," aimed at restoring state institutions, liberating the capital Sana'a, and ending the "Houthi militia coup" supported by Iran. Al-Alimi had also announced, in a speech directed to Yemenis on Sunday, the transition to the military option after exhausting opportunities for calm and peace efforts, confirming that the armed forces, security, and military formations have received directives to carry out their tasks according to the approved plans. Meanwhile, Yemeni forces began what they described as a "strategic attack" on the capital Sana'a, after controlling Bab al-Mandab and launching a wide attack from three fronts in northern, western, and southern Yemen.
