The Yemeni armed forces continued their field advance on Tuesday, for the second consecutive day, on the southern front of Marib Governorate as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation, amid ongoing retreats and continuous human and material losses within the Houthi militias.
A military source told the armed forces' media center to the "Saba" agency that the army soldiers "managed today to repel the Houthi militias from wide areas and strategic sites, most notably the Thamad mountain range, Al-Qaimah, Al-Muqaylat, Akd Al-Qaimah, Al-Rasid, and the surrounding desert areas."
The source added that "the battles resulted in dozens of militia members being killed, wounded, or captured, in addition to the destruction of three vehicles, damaging combat vehicles, and casualties among those on board."
The source indicated that the Yemeni air defenses managed to shoot down an enemy drone.
The Yemeni armed forces thwarted, last night, Houthi attempts to regain the positions they lost since the launch of the "Yemen Dawn" operation, forcing the militia to retreat and flee after inflicting losses on them in personnel and equipment.
