Egyptian artist Amr Youssef celebrated the appearance of his wife, Syrian artist Kinda Alloush, at the opening of the ninth session of the El Gouna International Film Festival.

Youssef posted on his official Instagram account a picture showing Kinda Alloush on the red carpet, on the first night of the festival on Thursday evening.

He commented on the photo, saying: “How sweet and beautiful this El Gouna Festival is.. I love this festival so much.”

Youssef continued to flirt with his wife indirectly, as if he was talking about the festival, after he continued: “What elegance and what sophistication... when culture, literature, and presence come together... then I am definitely talking about the El Gouna Festival.”

At the end of his comment, he expressed his sadness at his absence from the activities of this session of the festival, after he wrote: “I wish I had been with them.”

His wife, Kinda Alloush, responded to him in the comments, and she followed the same way of flirting, after she wrote, saying: “And the El Gouna Festival will die for you.”

These words witnessed widespread interaction from colleagues, friends and followers, who expressed their admiration for the mutual feeling between the duo.

Amr Youssef is preparing to present his new play, called “I Don’t Know Me,” and it will be shown as part of the Riyadh Season activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from October 23 to the 27 of the same month.

He co-stars in the play alongside Amr Youssef, Asma Galal, Ahmed Abdel Wahab and Bayoumi Fouad.
