The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah concluded its preparatory meetings for the Hajj season of 1448 AH, with the participation of Hajj Affairs offices from 78 countries, as part of early preparations aimed at enhancing readiness and coordination to organize the season and serve the guests of Allah.

The meetings discussed the most important operational and organizational files for the season, foremost among them the procedures for the 'comprehensive package', contracting with service providers for foreign pilgrims, in addition to monitoring the progress in implementing the approved plans and timelines.

The ministry followed up with the Hajj Affairs offices on the level of readiness and progress in implementing the timeline for the season's activities, which enhances coordination among the concerned parties and increases the efficiency of preparations to receive the pilgrims.

This comes as part of an approach that relies on starting organizational and operational arrangements early, allowing for the completion of requirements and services according to the specified schedules before the season begins.

The "comprehensive package" topped the meeting agendas, along with the mechanisms for contracting with service providers for foreign pilgrims, as part of organizing the services provided to pilgrims and enhancing the level of integration among the relevant authorities.

The meetings also reviewed the systems and regulations governing Hajj operations, and the requirements for compliance with the approved procedures during the preparation phases for the season.

The meetings concluded under the slogan "Integrated Coordination.. for a Smooth Journey," in line with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's direction towards unifying efforts and enhancing coordination with the offices of pilgrim affairs from the early stages of the Hajj season 1448 AH.
