Trump attacks Obama, calling him a "completely incompetent president"

- US President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on former US President Barack Obama, hours after the latter criticized him and held him responsible for the frustration felt by voters, during two election rallies held on Saturday. In a post on the Truth Social platform shortly after midnight on Sunday, Trump described Obama as a "completely incompetent president."

Trump also repeated his previous criticisms of Obama, including allegations that he "paid Iran billions of dollars and paved the way for it to obtain a nuclear weapon." Trump added that Obama - known to the Democrats as the "electoral decisive man" because of his ability to mobilize voters immediately before the electoral elections - had not succeeded in helping the Democrats win in previous elections.

Trump pointed out that Obama sought to garner votes for Hillary Clinton in 2016, and former Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024, but both of them lost the presidential race to him. Trump expected that Obama's efforts to support Abdul Rahman Al-Sayyid, the Democratic candidate for Senate from Michigan, would also fail.

Trump said in his post about Obama: “He is now running an election campaign for a jihadist from the Muslim Brotherhood, who hates Jews, blacks, Americans, and Trump, and he will lose,” repeating baseless allegations about Abdul Rahman Al-Sayyed. Trump was in Perry, Georgia, on Saturday evening, where he was rallying support for Republican Party candidates, including Representative Mike Collins (nominee for Senate) and businessman Rick Jackson (nominee for governor).

On the other hand, Obama was in Detroit to support Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, along with Jocelyn Benson, the Democratic candidate for governor of Michigan. Obama also participated in another campaign rally in Cleveland earlier on Saturday, where he worked to mobilize voters to support Amy Acton, the Democratic candidate for governor of Ohio, and former Senator Sherrod Brown, who is seeking to regain his former seat in the Senate.
