Washington - Ofoq News - US President Donald Trump described Iran as a “failed state,” claiming that it does not have an effective economy and does not pay the salaries of its soldiers, indicating that Washington will make a decision regarding Tehran “very soon.”
In statements addressing developments in the region, Trump said that the Houthi group is behaving “very badly,” adding that he may ask Turkey to intervene in Yemen, without clarifying the nature or details of this intervention.
The US President also revealed that he spoke with the Saudi Crown Prince, without providing additional details regarding the content of the call or the files that were discussed.
Regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war, Trump said that the potential agreement to end the war would be “an agreement for the world, not just for the United States,” considering that it would contribute to pumping more oil into global markets.
These statements come in light of continuing regional and international tensions, amid anticipation of the next American steps towards Iran and Yemen, in addition to efforts to reach an agreement regarding the war in Ukraine.
