Trump stated that the United States will "win" the war with Iran, emphasizing that it will happen "quickly," while noting that fuel prices will decrease after the war ends. His remarks come at a time when indirect negotiations between the two sides are still ongoing without reaching a final agreement.

In contrast, a U.S. official said that the talks with Iran through intermediaries have been "positive and constructive," but he confirmed that any agreement requires addressing the Iranian nuclear file. According to reports, communications are taking place through Qatari and Pakistani intermediaries, while Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi met with Qatari intermediaries in New York to discuss a proposal related to reopening the Strait of Hormuz and resuming negotiations.
