UN reports reveal: Israel is a project to expel Palestinians and target journalists “media genocide”

Jerusalem - Ofoq News - Reports prepared by United Nations human rights mechanisms revealed accusations against Israel related to its establishment in 1948 and targeting journalists and media outlets. Two reports in this regard are scheduled to be presented next Monday during a session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The first report describes the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 as part of a colonial plan aimed at expelling the Palestinian population, while the second report, prepared by UN rapporteur Francesca Albanese, accuses Israel of deliberately targeting journalists and the media, as part of a policy that the report describes as genocide.

The report of the UN Commission of Inquiry against Israel, headed by senior Indian diplomat Srinivasan Muralidhar, Florence Mumba of Zambia, and Chris Sadoti of Australia, presents the creation of Israel as part of “an orchestrated plan by the Jewish settlement leadership to expel the Palestinian population and prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.” The report also calls for "international measures against Israel."

At the same time, Francesca Alpenza published a report accusing Israel of deliberately killing Palestinian journalists. In the report, the author uses the term “media genocide.” According to a report carried by the Israeli newspaper Maariv.

Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, launched an attack on the reports, saying: “Francesca Alpenza and her allies have turned the United Nations into the world's largest printing press for spreading blood-soaked anti-Semitic slander against the State of Israel.
