Churro is made from fermented grains, and its roots go back to centuries-old traditions. It has become a staple drink throughout Kyrgyzstan, and the name of one of the most well-known brands in the country.
Churo is considered the national drink of Kyrgyzstan, and their ancestors have been drinking it “for thousands of years,” said Jumadyl Egimberdiyev, co-founder of Churu. He added: “The drink is made from natural ingredients such as barley, wheat, and corn.
It is also good for health with its sour, sweet and palatable taste.” Founded in 1992, Churu is one of the most famous food and beverage brands in Kyrgyzstan.
It is famous for producing and selling traditional fermented drinks made from dairy products or grains. The company started out selling only 80 liters of churro per day, while its production capacity is up to 70 tons per day.
Shuro said technology has played a pivotal role in helping it keep up with increasing demand. Egimberdiyev explained that the production process takes 3 full days, from its beginning until the product reaches the consumer’s table.
