Hosni Mubarak Military

Listen to the article. The audio text is automated, generated by an automated system

The anniversary of the great October victory came, and we followed much of what was said, but without much of it containing anything about Hosni Mubarak. I am talking about Mubarak, the commander of the air force during the October victory, not about Mubarak the politician, who is and will remain in dispute.

Mubarak Al-Askari is the one who concerns me in these lines, not for anything, except because we can imagine the consequences of the failure of the air strike that he led at the moment of the first crossing of the canal. We can imagine the consequences of this, because any ground forces fighting on the ground remain exposed to the enemy, unless they have air cover to protect them in their positions.

The first air strike led by Mubarak was what ensured this, and without it it would have been very difficult for our forces to cross the canal water barrier first, or to pass through the Bar Lev Line barrier second. This is the merit of Mubarak and the merit of his air forces with him, and this is what must continue to be said to the people.

The most important reason for the deplorable defeat of June 5, 1967, is that the enemy took the initiative and struck our planes on the ground, and after that he knew that our ground forces were completely exposed to him. These were horrors that you could hardly believe when you read the political memoirs written about those dark days.

The hero Sadat learned the lesson, and with him the Air Force learned the lesson as well, and the army began fighting and winning victory on October 6, 1973, while every fighting member in it knew that he was protected by the Air Force’s planes in the sky, and that is why the fighting ground forces began to advance, and then continue to advance, because Mubarak had given them a protective air umbrella with his planes. Not only that, but the Mansoura air battle was also under his charge, and those who read some of its details know that it was unparalleled in battles. The atmosphere, and military academies still devote spaces and spaces when teaching battles that represent landmarks in the history of military thought.

In it, Israel launched 120 planes to destroy the air bases in the Delta, but found our air forces waiting for them, and an air epic took place over a period of 53 full minutes, a period of time that no air battle had ever taken before. At its end, on October 14, 1973, Israel’s planes split into two parts: one was destroyed, and another fled, and this air epic had no commander other than Hosni Mubarak.

The Holy Qur’an says: And let not the hatred of a people force you not to be just. The meaning is that your hatred for a person should not prevent you from giving him what he deserves. And in another verse: Do not deprive people of their things. We have underestimated Mubarak's military, not political, right once again to things and things.
