Excavations in Chinese Caves Reveal Secrets of the Mysterious Denisovans

- Archaeologists excavating in a cave in southwestern China have discovered fossilized remains belonging to a mysterious group of extinct hominins, revealing new details about their way of life. Among the remains are 4 teeth, a part of an arm bone, and two fragments of a skull, bringing the total number of known Denisovan fossils to more than 20.
