He explained that the goal of the project is to provide a place where artists feel comfortable and safe, alongside being among their colleagues with whom they share many years of work and memories.

The home also includes hotel suites for accommodation, a restaurant and kitchen, medical care facilities, in addition to a garden, while employing about 50 staff members from nursing, care, and various services.

The head of the Actors' Syndicate emphasized the need to change the stereotypical image associated with nursing homes for the elderly, pointing out that the home for senior artists differs in nature from the traditional image of such homes.

He stated that the home has become a place that brings together colleagues in the same profession, providing them with care, activities, and social life, adding: "We have a place that befits us... a place that is ours."

He noted that the existence of the home has personally given him a greater sense of reassurance about his colleagues, after having followed for years the conditions of artists facing difficult health or living situations.

Ashraf Zaki revealed contributions made by several companies and artists to meet the needs of the home, explaining that some food and beverage companies provide in-kind donations including tea, coffee, milk, yogurt, water, and other daily necessities.

He also spoke about an initiative from artist Diab, who contacted him and expressed his desire to provide gifts for the home, and Ashraf Zaki suggested providing an oxygen machine.

He confirmed that the contributions of artists and companies do not necessarily indicate a lack of needs for the home, but rather reflect the participants' desire to support the project and contribute to it.

Ashraf Zaki pointed out the provision of a small car within the home for use when needed, noting that there are nearby hospitals that can be reached within minutes, and which offer intensive care services.

He explained that residency in the home is subject to specific conditions and is supervised by the Ministry of Social Solidarity and relevant authorities, indicating that the project primarily targets members of artistic syndicates who meet the residency criteria.
