Khamenei: There are those who consider us the fourth superpower.. and the Arabian Sea will soon be free of America

- The Iranian leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stated that there are those who now consider his country to be "the fourth superpower in the world," in light of its war with the United States, which he said, "the day will come when" the Arabian Sea will be free of its forces. Khamenei added, in a statement reported by the official news agency (IRNA), that "there were days when the enemy continuously sought to weaken the social fabric of the regime, but today, various segments of society, despite their clear differences, insist on adhering to their rightful positions, including preserving the Strait of Hormuz, which is filled with goodness and blessings."

Khamenei pointed out that the maritime areas in southern Iran were "a playground for enemy forces, but today, due to the painful blows they have received from the brave fighters and defenders of the Strait of Hormuz, they no longer advance beyond the Arabian Sea, and whenever they dare to do so, they harm themselves; soon the day will come when the Arabian Sea will be free of them as well." He continued: "And it is possible to expand more on this comparison between the past days and our current days and explain it, but I, in one word, declare, as a servant of the dear Iranian people, that those past days that our enemy wishes to return us to have gone and will never return."

Khamenei mentioned that "there are those who consider us the fourth superpower in the world," considering that "these people say this based on worldly calculations," while he believed that by "divine calculations," Iran is "the first power in the world." The Iranian leader likened his country to a "Phoenix" that "has become greater today due to the pressures of the enemy, especially the last two imposed wars, to the extent that the shadow of its flight extends to the lands of the enemies as well."

He also praised the former Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, whom he described as the "Prince of Arabs and a symbol of the great resistance front," on the occasion of the second anniversary of his death in Israeli airstrikes two years ago. He said that "shame" awaits "those who pin their hopes (in Lebanon), in facing the Zionist enemy, on the false promises of imperialist powers and entities that harbor malice against them."
