Chinese Robots Perform Saudi Dance During Event in Riyadh

- Videos of robots performing a traditional dance in Saudi attire have recently amazed social media users. The event took place during a celebration hosted by the Chinese embassy in honor of its National Day in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The Chinese ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Zhang Hua, wrote in a post on his official page on the "X" platform on Monday: "Our embassy held a reception this evening to celebrate the seventy-seventh anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China." He added, referring to the robots that participated in the event: "We express our gratitude to our friends for honoring us with their presence.

The robots, manufactured in China, presented impressive performances that left a profound impact on the attendees." In one of the videos shared by Hua, the robots appeared in traditional attire while dancing in synchronized movements in front of the audience.

In another clip, what appeared to be a four-legged robot contributed to presenting the event cake to those present, in a simple display that showcased its capabilities. China is not a stranger to robotics-related technologies, and among its latest remarkable innovations is a robotic structure that assists exhausted tourists in climbing the country's toughest mountain.
