"Fly Dubai" reveals to Afaq News details of the Tel Aviv flight incident and calls for no speculation

- A spokesperson for Flydubai told Afaq News on Wednesday that a crew member diverted the flight that was heading to Tel Aviv and landed it in Saudi Arabia, following a dispute in the cockpit. The spokesperson also added that the motive behind the incident is still unclear.

He also mentioned that "the aircraft was successfully secured by the Flydubai crew who were on board the flight," and the plane landed safely at Tabuk Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The spokesperson added that the company sent two replacement aircraft to Tabuk to assist the passengers and crew of the diverted flight, noting that an investigation into the incident has been opened.

The spokesperson said: "At this early stage, the reasons and motives behind this event are still unknown and are subject to an official investigation." He continued: "We urge all parties to refrain from making premature speculations while authorities gather the facts."
