Al-Quds Pharmaceutical Group Wins the Excellence in Digital Transformation Award at Pharmaconex 2026

Cairo - Afaq News - Al-Quds Pharmaceutical Group has won the Excellence in Digital Transformation award at the Pharmaconex Pharma Awards 2026, held on the sidelines of the Pharmaconex International Pharmaceutical Exhibition and Conference in Cairo, organized by Informa Markets in collaboration with CPHI Global, during the awards ceremony held on September 2.

The group's victory came after competing against more than 100 submissions from various companies in the Middle East, where Al-Quds Group presented its experience in developing and automating several technical processes, quality, and pharmaceutical production operations, as well as using digital systems, data, modern technologies, and artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency and improve work methods.

The award was received by Mr. Rami Al-Qutub, General Manager of Al-Quds Pharmaceutical Group, and Dr. Maher Al-Kharouf, Quality Manager at the group.

Al-Qutub stated: "This win confirms that investing in developing work systems is an investment in the future of the group. Our vision is to build a more efficient, flexible, and competitive pharmaceutical group, where continuous development, quality, and technology are fundamental pillars for growth and meeting the needs of patients in the markets we serve."

The systems developed by the group focus on automating processes related to quality and manufacturing, maintaining the integrity and reliability of quality data, and enhancing traceability and control, which contributes to strengthening the quality system and improving operational efficiency, in line with the latest requirements and practices of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and global protocols related to data safety.

For her part, Dr. Lina Barakat, Deputy General Manager of the group, said: "We have worked on using digital systems to facilitate work in quality and production, reduce manual procedures, and improve the accuracy and speed of information while maintaining the integrity of quality data. This development builds on the quality system and certifications that the group's factories possess."

The implementation of these systems has been completed in the group's factories in Palestine, while work is ongoing to implement them in the group's factories in Jordan and Algeria, as part of an approach to unify and develop work tools and systems and enhance operational efficiency across the group.

Al-Quds Pharmaceutical Group was established 57 years ago and today produces more than 350 pharmaceutical products, exporting its products to over 24 countries worldwide, with an industrial presence in Palestine, Jordan, and Algeria. The group has also begun, as part of its regional expansion plans, to establish a pharmaceutical factory in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
