Tehran - Ofoq News - The Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination Affairs confirmed that there is no shortage of military equipment in his country, warning against targeting ships he described as “enemy ships” again if Iran is subjected to any new attack.
The official Iranian news agency, IRNA, quoted the military official as saying that Iranian forces had previously targeted ships, and that they were ready to repeat these operations if circumstances required it.
These statements come in light of escalating maritime tensions in the region, especially around the Strait of Hormuz, which is witnessing Iranian warnings to ships against using routes that Tehran describes as unauthorized, amid growing concerns about the safety of maritime navigation and energy supplies.
