The story of an Egyptian delivery representative named Doaa Mohamed has garnered widespread interaction on social media after she recounted a humanitarian situation she faced while delivering an order in the Madinaty area of New Cairo, where she was surprised by the customer's behavior upon her late arrival.
Doaa stated in a post on her social media account that the shipping cost was 350 Egyptian pounds, and she was late to the customer because she had to use six modes of transportation to reach the location.
She explained that she was preparing to apologize to the customer and explain the reason for her delay, especially since she had put in a lot of time and effort to reach him, but she was surprised when he took out 500 pounds and gave her the amount instead of the shipping cost of 350 pounds.
Doaa expressed her happiness with the situation, saying: "I can't find words to say, I swear to God, because I was very late to the customer because I took six modes of transportation, and I was still going to explain and apologize, and then I found him pulling out 500 pounds instead of the 350."
She added: "I wish to meet kind and gentle clients like the one today every day; I will be a millionaire, God willing, in less than a year."
Duhah's post received a great deal of interaction from social media users, who were keen to support her and praise the client's behavior, before she later revealed the extent of her story's spread.
In a new update, she said: "Thank you very, very much for your words and your support for me; the post reached 3 million people and is increasing," expressing gratitude to everyone who supported her and wrote encouraging words, saying: "Thank you to every girl, woman, or man who encouraged me and said a nice word."
Duhah Mohammed, who works as a delivery representative, is keen to share a part of her daily work life and her experiences with clients on social media.
On the day of the incident, Duhah explained that the scooter she uses for deliveries was out of order, which forced her to rely on different means of transportation to reach the client, before she was surprised by his attitude towards her.
