The Saudi Minister of Information, Salman Al-Dosari, affirmed that the security and safety of citizens and residents is a priority in the Kingdom, condemning the Houthi terrorist attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects.
During his hosting of the government press conference, Al-Dosari said that life in the Kingdom continues normally, indicating that raising preparedness does not mean anxiety, but rather reflects the state’s readiness for various scenarios, regardless of their possibility of occurrence.
He added that the terrorist Houthi militia does not give importance to values and ethics, stressing the necessity of obtaining information from its official sources.
In another context, the Minister of Information indicated that the Kingdom ranks first regionally in the maturity of digital government services at a rate of 99%, while the Kingdom’s trains transported more than 38 million passengers during the second quarter of 2026.
He also announced the discovery of about 114 million tons of crude oil in Jabal Sayid, pointing out that 63,000 Saudi families owned their first homes during the first half of this year.
Al-Dosari touched on the transformations taking place in Riyadh, saying that it has become one of the cities whose transformations can be read most through the movement of movement, the expansion of urbanization, and the growth of projects, leading to its global presence as the capital of business, investment, and decision-making.
