On Saturday, during an election rally in Kentucky, US President Donald Trump praised his influence during his second term in the White House, at a time when his party is facing difficulties in the midterm elections, saying: “I can do incredible things.”
Trump was speaking in the city of Highland Heights in support of Republican candidates before the midterm elections scheduled for next November, including Ed Gallrein, a candidate for membership in the US House of Representatives.
The US President cited his decision to change the name the US government uses to refer to the Gulf of Mexico to “America’s Gulf.”
"I don't think I would have been able to do that in my first term," Trump said. "This is a state where I have much more influence."
He added: "Google would not have responded to my calls during my first term, but now they are very flattering me."
The US President continued, saying: “Well, I also changed the name of a lake in Canada to Lake America,” referring to Lake Ontario.
