42 participants in the American “Freedom Caravan” head to Washington to demand an end to funding Israel

Washington - Ofoq News - The “American Freedom Caravan 2026” continues its journey from the city of Los Angeles to Washington, DC, with the participation of 42 people, to demand that the needs of American citizens be given priority, and the cessation of American funding that contributes to the suffering of the Palestinian people.

The convoy set off on October 17, in front of the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles, on a ten-day trip, and is scheduled to arrive in Washington on the 26th of the same month, to deliver a petition entitled “We the People” to the offices of Congress, ahead of the midterm elections scheduled for next November 3.

The caravan includes representatives of religious groups, former government employees, and veterans, seeking to open a direct dialogue with residents regarding American support for Israel and the spending of tax dollars.

The campaign calls for directing government priorities towards meeting the needs of American families and communities, especially in the areas of health, housing, education, and child care, and ending American funding that contributes to the suffering of the Palestinians.

It also defends the right to criticize Israeli policies without being silenced, and raises questions about the influence of lobbyists in the American decision-making process.

Caravan route

During its journey from Los Angeles to Washington, the convoy passes through a number of American cities and states: Los Angeles in California, Las Vegas in Nevada, Flagstaff in Arizona, Monument Valley and Bluff in Utah, Cortez in Colorado, Albuquerque in New Mexico, Amarillo in Texas, Tulsa in Oklahoma, Rolla and St. Louis in Missouri, Chicago in Illinois, Fort Wayne in Indiana, Dover in Ohio, and Farmington in Pennsylvania. Cumberland in Maryland, Paw Paw in West Virginia, Warrenton in Virginia, all the way to Washington, D.C.
