After the Houthis carried out a terrorist attack against Medina early on Tuesday, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Al-Budaiwi, confirmed that the "sinful Houthi attack" crosses all red lines and is a blatant provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world, and a serious escalation in violating the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.

Al-Budaiwi emphasized that the "Houthi attack" reveals an aggressive approach that disregards religious and humanitarian values as well as international laws and norms, especially with the repeated attempts to target the Two Holy Mosques and the surrounding areas.

Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, condemned in the strongest and harshest terms the terrorist attack by drone carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia targeting an electricity distribution station in Medina, Saudi Arabia, which provides services to the Prophet's Mosque and civil landmarks in the city.

In this context, Al-Budaiwi affirmed the full and steadfast support of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for Saudi Arabia, and their complete solidarity with it in facing all that targets its security, stability, sovereignty, and holy sites, supporting all measures it takes to protect its territory, citizens, residents, and pilgrims, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom and the security of its holy sites are an integral part of the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and that any threat to it is a threat to the security of all member states.
