Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirmed that the Egyptian constitution will not be touched, stressing that he will not allow the state to be hijacked, and declaring that the year 2030 will be the end of his term as head of state, saying that this matter is “completely settled.”
Today, Saturday, during the graduation ceremony of new batches from the Egyptian Military Academy, Sisi said that the state has 43 months to arrange responsibilities, pointing to the formation of a committee to train and select cadres capable of assuming state responsibilities, whether in ministerial or parliamentary positions or in various agencies and institutions.
The President added that Egypt is not incapable of producing leaders who will assume responsibility with competence and patience, stressing that no criminal, traitor, or biased person will assume responsibility in Egypt.
Al-Sisi stressed that protecting the homeland is a shared responsibility that begins with the Egyptian family, and that preserving the national state and its stability requires the presence of national institutions capable of protecting the capabilities of the people.
The president pointed out that attempts to distort the state aimed to undermine citizens' confidence in their national institutions.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that the brothers in the Gulf states stood by Egypt in 2013 without taking into consideration, noting that gas and oil ships were arriving in the country without compensation, adding: “Without them, I would not have known what would happen.”
Sisi also thanked the Gulf states, led by Saudi Arabia, for supporting Egypt after 2013, and asked the armed forces to give them a military salute.
He continued: "We stand strongly with our brothers in the Gulf and will not allow the security of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf to be compromised."
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi witnessed the graduation ceremony of new batches of Egyptian Military Academy students, which included air shows presented by Air Force eagles in the academy’s skies.
The Egyptian Military Academy aims to prepare and graduate officers and cadres with military, technical and professional competence to work in armed forces units or in various state institutions.
