The video showed Al-Ain fans chanting the name "Messi" as Ronaldo entered Hazza bin Zayed Stadium to warm up.

The past years in football have witnessed intense competition between Ronaldo and Messi, as they exchanged the spotlight and achieved the best collective and individual accomplishments.
