Between red and black...the looks of Selena Gomez and Katy Perry in Los Angeles

American singer and actress Selena Gomez chose the color red for her appearance on the red carpet for the fourth annual charity gala for the Rare Impact Fund in Los Angeles, USA. Gomez hosted the ceremony launched by her foundation in 2020, in conjunction with her cosmetics brand, “Rare Beauty,” with the aim of raising funds to support mental health among young people and expand their access to specialized services.

The American artist appeared in a red dress specially designed for her by the Italian house "Prada", characterized by a bare shoulder cut and studded details that added sparkle to it. A sculpted design similar to the shape of rose petals appeared at the waist, while the skirt draped in a shape-defining cut all the way to the ankles.

Gomez coordinated the dress with red satin high-heeled shoes, and diamond-studded jewelry from the Swiss house Bucherer, which included “Baguette Love” earrings and a ring. As for her hair, she left it loose in soft waves, and chose eye makeup in brown shades and bright nude lipstick.

The look was signed by American celebrity fashion stylist Erin Walsh. Katy Perry with a Turkish design On the same occasion, American pop star Katy Perry appeared in a black look from Turkish designer Ilkiyaz Ozel.

The look consisted of a "crop top" with wide straps and a heart-shaped bodice, and was characterized by front openings, decorated with silver metal details, while the skirt came in a straight cut and a high waist. Perry completed her look with straight, slicked-back hair, soft diamond earrings, and simple makeup based on a light layer of mascara, rosy cheeks, and nude lipstick.

During the evening, the two artists appeared next to each other and took pictures, while Gomez appeared in another golden dress with shiny embroideries.
