While "Yemen Dawn" operations against the Houthi militia continue on several fronts on Saturday, the past hours have brought several developments.
The spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, announced the destruction of two ballistic missile launching pads for the Houthi militia in Saada Governorate, northern Yemen.
The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen showed a clip targeting the operations of the terrorist Houthi militia to smuggle weapons across the sea to Hodeidah Governorate.
Also in field developments in Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces published pictures of some of the attacks that targeted the equipment and gatherings of Houthi militia members as part of Operation Yemen Dawn.
Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath correspondent reported that gatherings and equipment of the Houthi militias were targeted in the Jabal Habashi District, west of Taiz, with air strikes.
Before that, sources in Saada reported that Houthi tunnels and fortifications were targeted with three raids in the Kahlan camp.
The Yemeni armed forces also announced that their units in Taiz, with the support of the popular resistance and military aviation, thwarted widespread attacks launched by the Houthi militias south and west of the city of Taiz, including attacks in Al Shaqab on the southern front and Houthi attempts to advance on Jabal Han on the western front.
According to the statement, military aircraft launched a series of raids targeting militia sites, gatherings, concentrations, and vehicles on several fronts in the governorate, in addition to other drone strikes.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the implementation of 1,292 precise and direct targeting operations against military targets of the Houthi militia within 24 hours, which resulted in the neutralization of 430 members and the destruction of 100 vehicles.
The strikes included defensive sites, fortifications, trenches, fire sources, reserve gathering areas, and means of transportation and supply for the Houthi militias.
The security administration of the temporary Yemeni capital, Aden, said on Friday evening that two missiles fired by the Houthi militia fell inside the campus of Aden International Airport, in the second incident of its kind in less than a week.
For his part, Yemeni Minister of Transport Mohsen Ali Haidara said that the Houthi attack on Aden Airport almost caused a disaster, especially since it coincided with the preparation of a Yemeni Airlines flight to take off for Cairo. He added that the plane and all passengers were evacuated from the airport after the attack.
The Yemeni Minister of Transport considered that targeting Aden Airport a repeated criminal act by the Houthi militias that violates international laws.
On the humanitarian side, the United Nations expressed its concern about the worsening humanitarian crisis in Yemen with the continued displacement, stressing that women face increasing risks, as sudden displacements have led to a deterioration of the situation, imposing further restrictions on the services available to pregnant women.
