Operation Yemen Dawn is entering a more heated phase today, Tuesday, with the escalation of confrontations on the Taiz and Ma’rib fronts, and government forces intensifying their operations to restore sites controlled by the Houthi militias, amid military estimates of large human losses among the group’s ranks.

This comes as government forces seek to consolidate their field gains and secure strategic areas, especially in the vicinity of Bab al-Mandab and the highlands linking Taiz and Lahj.

The Legitimacy Support Coalition published scenes of the process of tracking and targeting smuggled weapons and maritime vessels involved in smuggling weapons to the Yemeni coast for the benefit of the terrorist Houthi militia, through organized crime groups.

The coalition warned the Houthi militia against exploiting traditional maritime means in smuggling weapons and missiles across the sea.

He explained that these activities constitute a direct threat to the security of Yemen and regional and international security, calling on marine vessel owners not to deal with the militia in any smuggling operations towards Yemeni shores.

The warplanes launched air strikes targeting sites, reinforcements and fortifications of the Houthi militia in various areas of Taiz Governorate, including Taiz Airport, Al-Sittin, Al-Rubaie, Al-Dhabab, Al-Maafer and Al-Misrakh.

In Ibb Governorate, the Houthi militia launched two missiles from the center of residential areas in Al-Sayani District, south of the governorate, towards Taiz, and the warplanes destroyed the launch pad for the two missiles in the district.

The aircraft also launched raids on Al-Hamza camp in Al-Sabra District, southeast of Ibb, where the Houthis use the camp to launch ballistic missiles.

In Lahj Governorate, the Southern Giants Brigades announced the thwarting of a massive Houthi attack on the Kahboub front with support from coalition aircraft, confirming the killing and wounding of hundreds of Houthis, the destruction of military vehicles, and forcing the militias to retreat.

While a source in the Southern Giants denied the validity of the reports regarding the advance of the Houthi militias in the Mudaraba District and the Ras Al-Ara area.

For his part, Shabwa Governor Awad bin Al-Wazir announced, in his interview with Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath, that the death toll from the Houthi attack on the training camp had risen to 58 dead, and more than 200 injured, in a new toll that reflects the size of the losses resulting from the attack.

In his speech, the Governor of Shabwa explained that the attack that targeted the training camp was carried out with three missiles launched by the Houthi militia from the mountains of Ma’rib.

The governor of Shabwa accused cells affiliated with Al-Qaeda in the governorate of cooperating with the Houthis, noting that the authorities had seized a number of them and possessed evidence proving this cooperation in Shabwa and other areas.
