- The Israeli national airline "El Al" announced that it is working to evacuate Israelis stranded in Dubai, after "Fly Dubai" suspended its flights to Tel Aviv following the stabbing incident and attempted hijacking of a plane that occurred on Wednesday. A spokesperson for "El Al" told Afaq News that no date has been set yet for the evacuation flights.

Air traffic between Dubai International Airport and Ben Gurion Airport has increased in recent years; the signing of the "Abraham Accords" in 2020 normalized relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, allowing the resumption of commercial flight services between the two countries. "Fly Dubai" typically operates 70 flights weekly from Dubai to Tel Aviv and had been the only carrier on this route in recent months after Israeli airlines suspended their flights to Dubai due to the war with Iran.

More than one million Israeli travelers flew to Dubai in 2025, according to data from Tel Aviv Airport.
