From the middle of the field to the goal...an amazing goal in the English Premier League

Brighton's English player, Diego Gomez, scored a goal during a match in which his team won over Crystal Palace, 5-0, on Sunday, in the seventh round of the English Premier League (Premier League). Gomez's goal came in a very beautiful way, as he got the ball with one touch to prepare it forward, then fired a missile shot from the middle of the field, taking advantage of the progress of the opposing goalkeeper, Walter Benitez.

Benitez quickly moved back to clear the ball, but it settled on its path and went into the net, with Diego Gomez scoring one of the most beautiful goals in the Premier League. The Paraguayan player reached his third scoring contribution in the English Premier League this season 2026/27, as he scored one goal and made two assists.

While Brighton reached point 16 in second place on the rankings, 5 points behind the leader, Manchester City.
