India announced that 12 crew members of a Panama-flagged tanker were injured in an attack while crossing the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday.

New Delhi confirmed that the injured are currently receiving necessary medical treatment and care in the Sultanate of Oman after being evacuated to nearby Omani ports.

These developments reflect the escalating risks threatening maritime navigation and the safety of vital waterways in the region.
