Injury of Ten Israeli Soldiers in Southern Lebanon

Tel Aviv - Afaq News - The Israeli army announced today, Sunday, that an officer and a regular soldier were injured in southern Lebanon, the day before yesterday, Friday, "after a grenade was thrown improperly," and the soldier's injuries were described as serious while the officer's injuries were moderate.

The soldier and the officer were transferred to "Rambam" Hospital in Haifa, and the Israeli army stated that it is investigating the circumstances of the incident.

The officer and the soldier were injured at 8:30 PM the day before yesterday in the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon, after a soldier threw a grenade "improperly" and its explosion resulted in injuries to both the soldier who threw it and the officer.

The Israeli army is investigating the mechanism used by the soldier to throw the grenade, as well as the possibility that the grenade struck a solid object in the area after being thrown, which led to the injuries of both.
