Operation "Yemen Dawn" continues for the tenth day in a row, amid escalating confrontations between Yemeni government forces and the Houthi militia on a number of fighting fronts, most notably the Mudaraba District, north of Lahj Governorate, and on the southern front in Ma'rib Governorate.

A military source said that government forces, with the support of the Sabiha tribes, are engaged in violent confrontations with Houthi elements, following an attack launched by the militia on the areas of Al-Agbara, Al-Mansoura, and Al-Tamabra, indicating that the clashes are still continuing.

The source also added that military reinforcements from the Giants Brigades forces arrived on the fronts of the Mudaraba District, as part of movements aimed at confronting the repeated Houthi attacks.

He explained that the Houthi militia is seeking to open a gap on the speculative fronts and advance towards Tur al-Baha or Ras al-Ara, allowing them to circumvent the government forces stationed in the Bab al-Mandab area and the strategic Kahboub mountain range overlooking the strait.

As for Ma'rib Governorate, the Media Center of the Yemeni Armed Forces published video clips that it said documented the storming of Houthi fortifications on the southern front.

The center stated, in a post on the “X” platform, that Houthi elements fled in front of the advance of the armed forces, while military operations continue to purge the governorate of Houthi militia elements.

It is noteworthy that the Yemeni Armed Forces announced yesterday, Monday, the expansion of their offensive operations within the "Yemen Dawn" on the eastern and southern fronts, achieving field progress under intense fire support.

According to the toll announced by the Yemeni forces, 2,200 targeting operations were carried out using military aircraft, drones, artillery, and rocket launchers, in addition to sniper units. She said that the operations focused on command and control centers, fortifications, sources of fire, observation and reconnaissance points, as well as crowding areas, weapons and ammunition depots, means of transportation and supply, and other military targets.

Note that the “Yemen Dawn” operation, launched by the head of the Yemeni Presidential Command Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, aims to restore the areas under the control of the Houthis, secure the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the strategic areas surrounding it, leading to the restoration of the capital, Sana’a, and ending the control of the Iranian-backed militia.
