On Sunday, the warplanes of the Yemeni armed forces carried out a series of intensive airstrikes, exceeding 20 raids, targeting positions and gathering camps, as well as command and control centers and military reinforcements of the Houthi militia in the provinces of Al-Jawf and Marib.
In Al-Jawf province, the airstrikes focused on the eastern and western areas, where local sources told "Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath" that the raids targeted gathering camps and artillery positions in the Al-Lawdh mountain range and the Sabreen camp, east of Al-Hazm city, the capital of the province, coinciding with shelling of militia reinforcements in the Al-Lubnat camp to the east.
The airstrikes also extended to include the Al-Aqsha area and the Al-Nadr desert mountains, in addition to destroying a missile launch platform in the Al-Mahzam area, located west of the province.
In Marib province, the airstrikes focused on crippling the leadership and supply capabilities of the militias on the southern front. The warplanes targeted, in four raids, a command and control center belonging to the Houthis in the Al-Juba district, in addition to targeting reinforcements and military gatherings along the southern front of the province, resulting in extensive losses in equipment and lives due to the intensive strikes.
The official spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces announced at dawn today the targeting of painful strikes against vital objectives of the Houthi terrorist militia in Sana'a and Saada, emphasizing that "the capabilities of the Houthi militia will not be safe from the fire of our armed forces, and we will destroy them."
Meanwhile, the Yemeni armed forces announced the execution of 257 precise and qualitative targeting operations that hit Houthi militia positions and movements, indicating that the military operations resulted in neutralizing no less than 700 elements of the militias during the recent strikes.
This coincided with a state of alert in Al-Bayda province in central Yemen, after its tribes called for a general mobilization against the Houthi militias, where Sheikh Rami bin Yasser Al-Awadi, the Sheikh of Al-Awad, sent a message to the people of Al-Bayda, urging them to prepare and mobilize against the Houthis.
Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Jabri, the Sheikh of the Al-Ghneim tribes in Qifah Al-Sufla, also called on the people of Al-Bayda to unite their ranks and mobilize to the front lines to confront the Houthi militias, urging them to bear their historical responsibility to reclaim their land.
These developments came amid ongoing confrontations between Yemeni forces and the Houthis in Taiz and Lahij, southwestern Yemen, coinciding with airstrikes by the Yemeni air force on Houthi positions in Sana'a.
It is noteworthy that in recent weeks, the control map in Yemen has witnessed changes, amid clashes between government forces and the Houthis, after the militia advanced on the western coast and took control of the coastal city of Mokha and other strategic locations, including the island of Meon located at the entrance of the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
