Israeli Soldier Documents His Crime Himself.. He Hits a Child Inside His Home and Threatens His Father

Ramallah - Afaq News - In a scene that documents a part of the assaults faced by Palestinians in the West Bank, an Israeli soldier filmed himself inside the home of a Palestinian family in the area classified as 'B', while detaining and assaulting one of its sons, sending a threatening message to the father of the family who had left the place.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, a force from the occupation army stormed the house following an attack by settlers near the village of Taybeh in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, under the pretext of searching for weapons.

During the raid, one of the soldiers appeared in a video holding a Palestinian teenager, while his brother had been injured during the clashes, addressing his father by saying: 'Your son is here... severely injured. He has been devastated. It’s better for you to come.'

The video shows, according to the circulating data, the soldier using the boy as a means to convey a message of intimidation to his father, while the house was being searched and vandalized.

The occupation army announced that it had opened an investigation into the incident, claiming that the soldier acted on his own initiative.

The incident comes in the context of the escalating assaults carried out by occupation soldiers and settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank, where violations are not limited to incursions and arrests, but also include physical assaults inside their homes and the destruction of their property.

In another incident that occurred on Thursday, the Palestinian Mashhour Shaher Muhammad Yasin (51 years old) was martyred by settler gunfire during an attack on the village of Yasuf east of Salfit, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health and medical sources.
