Massive American Reinforcements to the Middle East.. 3 Aircraft Carriers and Amphibious Groups Near Iran

Washington - Afaq News - American sources revealed a wide military move by the United States towards the Middle East, coinciding with rising tensions with Iran.

According to an American official, the aircraft carrier 'Theodore Roosevelt' departed from San Diego with its strike group heading to the Middle East, as part of reinforcing the American military presence in the region.

The amphibious assault group 'Makin Island' also left San Diego heading to the Middle East, carrying more than 2,000 U.S. Marines.

According to the official, the size of the American military deployment around Iran is expected to reach three aircraft carriers and two amphibious assault groups by the end of November.

He noted that the gathering of these forces provides American military leaders with multiple options to deal with Iran, amid ongoing tensions and escalation between Washington and Tehran.

This move comes at a time when the region is experiencing a state of tension, amid ongoing disputes between the United States and Iran regarding security and nuclear issues, while the possibilities of military escalation remain.
