- The American tour that was concluded by Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram on May 16, 2026 was not just a series of concerts, but it was also accompanied by various looks that were linked to each city within an integrated fashion vision. Ajram traveled between New Jersey, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, and other cities, wearing looks designed by Lebanese designers Jean-Pierre Khoury and Jean-Louis Sabaji.
Creative Director Guy Asmar explained in an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic that glossy black was the main element that was adopted in the various concerts, with the aim of creating a unified visual identity for the tour. Asmar pointed out that the looks were designed specifically for each ceremony, and varied between classic Hollywood glamor and modern sculptural cuts, all the way to the bold and contemporary “crop top” trend, without departing from the framework of fine tailoring, adding that he is trying to adopt a strategy of uniform fashion in every country Ajram visits.
For his part, Lebanese fashion designer Jean-Pierre Khoury revealed the details of his cooperation with Asmar and Ajram, explaining that one of the dresses came from the spring and summer 2026 haute couture collection, and was mainly made of velvet, before it underwent complete modifications to suit the nature of the theatrical performance, by adding additional laces and removing the large back knot to facilitate movement and singing on stage. Khoury also worked on three other designs, two of which Ajram wore, including a dress with a flowing cut with layers of tulle and full embroidery with ceramic sequins, in color gradations that moved between silver, black and dark blue before returning again to black in the “ombre” style.
As for the Los Angeles dress, it was designed specifically for her, with shades of color that went from black to silver, and full embroidery with ceramic sequins, in addition to Swarovski stones on the sides, and shiny details in the middle that gave the dress a metallic effect. Khoury explained in an interview with the Ofoq News website in Arabic that the idea came from the pencil drawing method, as he was inspired by the dark sides of the waist shading technique in the drawings to highlight the texture in a different way, while maintaining the style that the Lebanese artist usually adopts between classic and modern.
He also pointed out that all the dresses were made with hand embroidery, and each dress took between 200 and 300 hours of work between embroidery and sewing. Ajram also appeared during the tour in two looks designed by Jean-Louis Sabaji, including a theatrical look encrusted with crystals that was specially designed for her, according to the designer’s official Instagram page.
