Jerusalem - Ofoq News - The occupation forces continue to storm the town of Biddu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, coinciding with ongoing raids and arrests.
The media of the Jerusalem Governorate reported that one citizen was injured in the hand after the occupation forces blew up the door of his house during the continuous raids and searches of citizens' homes in the town.
The occupation forces also fired tear gas canisters heavily during the storming of the town of Biddu.
Additionally, the occupation forces carried out a wide arrest campaign at dawn on Monday, targeting dozens of young men.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated that the occupation forces detained about 53 young men at least inside an interrogation center they established in one of the houses they seized during the storming of the town, coinciding with search and vandalism operations inside several homes, and assaults on citizens.
In this context, the occupation forces closed the Beit Iksa checkpoint northwest of Jerusalem, preventing residents from leaving the village, amid the ongoing military operation in the town of Biddu and the surrounding areas.
The closure of the checkpoint has trapped the village residents and disrupted movement, amidst a shortage of basic supplies, including bread and food necessities, which exacerbates the humanitarian situation.
