Photos - A demonstration in the displacement camps in the Gaza Strip demands urgent relief

Gaza - Afaq News - Today, Saturday, displaced families organized a peaceful stand in the "Fash Fash al-Shamali" area, during which they issued an urgent humanitarian appeal to international organizations, charitable associations, and donor entities, due to the decline in humanitarian response and the continued interruption of relief aid for long periods.

Participants in the stand called on all concerned parties to fulfill their legal and humanitarian responsibilities to alleviate the suffering and increasing risks as winter approaches. The attendees urged for the urgent provision of essential needs, foremost among them shelter supplies and tents to face the harsh winter conditions, as well as food and health parcels to bridge the gap resulting from the lack of relief support and to find urgent solutions to the crises of water and lighting in light of the severe shortage of drinking water and basic services.

This stand comes to emphasize the necessity for the international community and relief organizations to act to address the deteriorating humanitarian situation and to ensure the protection of the displaced and meet their living requirements in a manner that responds to their human dignity.
