Warplanes in Yemen launched a series of raids targeting Houthi sites, reinforcements, and weapons stores in the governorates of Taiz, Sanaa, and Ibb.

Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath correspondent reported that the raids in Taiz targeted concentrations in Dhahban, Haijat Al-Abd, Haifan, Akma Habeish, and Al-Dhabab, in addition to sites in Al-Arsoum, Al-Maraziqan, Jabal Al-Moneim, Tabbat Al-Khalwa, Al-Sittin Street, and the Central Security Camp.

In addition, the Houthi militia infiltrated the city of Al-Misrakh, south of Taiz, and took control of the “Najd Qassim” area, which includes a main road linking the city of Taiz to a number of districts in the governorate’s countryside, amid violent clashes with the resistance forces.

In Sanaa, the raids targeted a barracks near the airport and a missile warehouse in Hamdan, while they targeted fortifications and a missile launching pad in the Al-Sayani area in Ibb Governorate.

The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 1,732 air and artillery strikes as part of Operation “Yemen Dawn” targeting defensive sites, command and control centers, weapons and ammunition stores, and military vehicles belonging to the Houthi militias.

The Yemeni Armed Forces explained in a statement that the operations resulted in the neutralization of more than 900 militia members, and the destruction or disabling of 287 military vehicles and equipment, in addition to targeting high-value military sites in depth, and cutting off reinforcements and supplies in conjunction with the field advance and the penetration of the Houthis’ defensive fortifications.

Military and political developments continue in Yemen, as the war enters a more decisive turn, with the expansion of military operations and the battle shifting from containing the capabilities of the Houthis to targeting their power points and locations of deployment.

While the legitimate forces announced the recovery of strategic sites, the coalition continued to strike missile launchers and warehouses.

The head of the Yemeni Presidential Command Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, announced the launch of the “Yemen Dawn” military operation, with the aim of restoring state institutions, liberating the capital, Sana’a, and ending the “Houthi militia coup” supported by Iran.
