Tel Aviv - Afaq News - The Hebrew newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that the occupation army is preparing to carry out a potential new military operation against Iran, following the conclusion of Operation "Lion's Roar", either with the participation of the American army or independently.
According to the newspaper, the occupation army is not satisfied with what it achieved during the last operation and has begun preparing plans for another operation in the Iranian arena, while maintaining close intelligence and operational coordination between the occupation army and the American army.
It pointed out that there are American officers in "Israel" and Israeli officers in the United States, while preparations are simultaneously underway to carry out an independent operation if necessary.
The newspaper added that the occupation army is preparing to act proactively, or in response to the possibility of Iran firing at "Israel", if it concludes that this could help it escape from the state of siege.
It noted that the likelihood of "Israel" or the United States taking military action before the American midterm elections is not high, but it indicated that Iran might take steps that do not serve the interests of American President Donald Trump.
