Hezbollah was upset that a criminal investigation patrol raided a medicine warehouse based on a judicial signal at the request of the Minister of Health. He expressed this anger by saying that the patrol, in the area where the raid took place, was subject to security arrangements in order to ensure the “security of the resistance,” and that the raid operation put the “security of the resistance” in danger!
Respect the minds of the Lebanese. If you had used “resistance security” as an excuse, your words would have some credibility, but what “resistance security” are you talking about? Does an announced patrol pose a threat to “resistance security”? Where was the “Resistance Security” when Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, Fouad Shukr, Ibrahim Aqeel, and the rest of the first-ranking leaders of Hezbollah were assassinated? Where was the “Resistance Security” when it targeted a room in a hotel in Raouche, a room in a hotel in Baabda, and an apartment in Martaqla in Hazmieh?
Hezbollah’s objection to the raid operation carried out by a criminal investigation patrol has nothing to do with “resistance security,” but rather with the path that Hezbollah followed before October 8, 2023, the date of its involvement in the first attribution, which says, “I am the state and the state is me.” In the context of this path, the party's areas of influence turned into a hotbed for a host of violations: from warehouses for smuggled goods, to warehouses for weapons of all kinds, all the way to explosive materials used in preparing explosive devices and car bombs. But all of these hideouts were proven to have been “under the watchful eye” of the Mossad through the “party’s” agents in that agency, and this was confirmed by the extent of the penetration. So where was the “Resistance Security” when all these penetrations took place?
Instead of being held accountable, the “resistance security” should be held accountable for the violations that ravaged it and that caused all the assassinations and bombings that targeted “Hezbollah.”
Then, is the function of “Resistance Security” to protect drug warehouses around which there are question marks that led the Minister of Health, who is affiliated with “Hezbollah,” to request the confiscation of the warehouse’s content?
Where does this performance stand in relation to the party’s slogan, “We protect and build”?
Has this slogan turned into the party protecting corruption, corrupt materials, and prohibited items?
Is this the function of “resistance security”?
