The Iranian Defense Minister threatens Israel: Our fingers are on the trigger and our military factories are inside the mountains

Tehran - Ofoq News - The new Iranian Defense Minister Mehrdad Akhlaqi confirmed that his country is fully prepared to engage in a military confrontation with Israel, stressing the readiness of the Iranian forces, saying that “our fingers are on the trigger.”

The Iranian Tasnim Agency quoted Akhlaqi as confirming that his country would continue to develop its military capabilities and manufacture weapons locally, relying on the capabilities of the Ministry of Defense and companies working in the technology and knowledge sector.

The Iranian minister indicated that his country is working to establish new military factories inside the mountains and in fortified and secure facilities, instead of the previous sites, in a step aimed at enhancing the protection of the defense industry infrastructure.

These statements come in light of the escalation of tension between Iran and Israel, and continuing fears of renewed military confrontation in the region, amid anticipation of the consequences of political and military movements during the next phase.
