As the conflict between the United States and Iran continues, the Iranian government has confirmed that it is prepared for all scenarios.

Government spokeswoman Fatima Mohajerani said during a press conference on Tuesday: “We are prepared for all scenarios, including banning flights or railway lines... but I cannot reveal the measures the government is taking because we are in a state of war,” according to what was reported by the Student News Agency.

She also noted that "some issues do not go beyond rumors and speculation, but it is natural that the government has prepared itself for the most difficult scenarios."

She noted that she "cannot reveal the measures taken by the government, because the country is in a state of war, and some information should not be shared."

As for the possibility of making ministerial changes, she explained that “in light of the difficult circumstances that Iran is going through these days, changing the members of the government will not solve any problem.” She added that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian “has not currently taken any decision to make changes.”

These statements came as Tehran recently escalated its warnings and threats. Yesterday, Monday, Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, threatened to target cables and data centers in the region if violent fighting broke out again.

Iranian officials also warned, publicly and in private conversations with regional officials, that their country would respond with further escalation across the Middle East if America launched new strikes, according to what the Wall Street Journal reported.

Meanwhile, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, Commander of the Ground Forces in the Iranian Army, confirmed two days ago that “most of the ground forces units are stationed on the northwestern, western, southwestern, eastern, northeastern, and southeastern borders of the country, especially on the Makran coast, and they enjoy a very high level of readiness.”

US President Donald Trump had previously made it clear that he would not launch attacks on Iran before the end of the midterm elections scheduled for November 3.

However, officials in his administration did not rule out any of the options after the elections ended, stressing that several options were placed on his table.
